This is the wide variant of NodeMCU ESP8266, it is recommended to get Base IO Expansion Board for NodeMCU V3 to extend all the GPIOs for easier prototyping. Note that this form factor cannot be directly fit on a single breadboard. This NodeMCU ESP8266 board is equipped with CH340 serial interface chip, it is plug and play once connected to PC and its driver should be automatically installed and recognized (in newer Windows PCs and laptops).
