L9110S Motor Driver Module
RM3.50
Recommended motor driver for small mobile robots!
14 in stock
Description
This module is a compact board that can be used to drive small robots. This module has two independent motor driver chips which can each drive up 800mA of continuous current. The boards can be operated from 2.5V to 12V enabling this module to be used with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. A set of female header pins is used to connect this module to a microcontroller. The motors are attached via two sets of screw terminals.
PWM signal is used to control the speed of a motor and a digital output is used to change its direction. This module can also be used to drive a single four line two phase stepper motor. Four holes make this board easy to mount onto your robot or other project.
Features
- Uses 2 L9110S dual H-bridge drivers
- Can be used to drive 2 separated DC motors, or 1 stepper motor
- Input voltage : 2.5 – 12 V
- Continuous output current : 800 mA

Wiring
Label | Meaning | Connection |
MOTOR A | Output A | Connect to motor A |
MOTOR B | Output B | Connect to motor B |
B-1A | Direction control B pin | Connect to digital pin of Arduino |
B-1B | Direction control B pin | Connect to digital pin of Arduino |
GND | Ground | Connect to ground of system |
VCC | Power source | Connect to positive terminal of power source |
A-1A | Direction control A pin | Connect to digital pin of Arduino |
A-1B | Direction control A pin | Connect to digital pin of Arduino |
Power source can be either battery, power adapter or Arduino 5V
Control Method
A-1A and A-1B are the direction control pins of the module for output A; B-1A and B-1B are the direction control pins of the module for output B.
1A and 1B direction controlling pins control the corresponding output, and they work based on the truth table
Input 1A | Input 1B | Output? |
LOW | LOW | Coast |
LOW | HIGH | Backward / Forward |
HIGH | LOW | Forward / Backward |
HIGH | HIGH | Brake |
