This is the opposite version of LM2596 module which is to step up your input power for your beefy powerful electronic projects need!
This module can easily step up your unregulated power source to 2A without the need of heatsink, and if you wish to go up to 4A with this module, you’ll have to add heatsink on the chip to make it capable.
This module is great if you want to power up a 12V device with just a few AA batteries for a short period of time. You can adjust the output voltage to your need
Note 😕The input voltage must be lower than the output voltage to operate properly. All kind of power conversions require input power to be higher than the output power, same goes to this module. The higher the load voltage, the higher the load current must be supplied to the load, therefore the higher input current is required.
