This variant of Wemos D1 mini has a larger flash size of 16 MB!
Similar to Wemos D1 mini board, it is designed to reduce Arduino and ESP8266 IoT core for down to an even lower price. It’s based on ESP8266, it has one analog port and 11 digital ports. It can be programmed using USB micro port or remote flash via OTA programming method. You can use it same as NodeMCU with the Arduino IDE, microPython, PlatformIO or Lua.
It can be powered by 5V via USB port or 3.3V fed into the 3v3 pin. Note that the operating voltage of this module is 3,3V only, be careful when interfacing this module with other 5V devices. A logic level shifter may needed to interface the Wemos board with other 5V devices such as Arduino board and its modules.
