Description

This is a common type of potentiometer used to adjust reference voltage, normally used in switch mode power supply unit. This type of trimmer potentiometer has short rotational life cycle, it is normally used in application with least frequent of adjustment. Avoid using this on applications where repetitive adjustment is needed.

Other names are trimpot, trimmer, preset, adjustor, variable resistor, tuner, voltage adjustor.
