Description

This passive type buzzer is soldered with 4P female header connector for PC motherboard use. This can be used with Arduino and other microcontrollers too.

Passive buzzer does not have built-in resonator, thus you are required to generate a tone signal for it to emit variable tone sound. Great for very small project that requires variable tone, or even singing melody!

Active buzzer or passive buzzer type can be distinguished by the look of its bottom, active buzzer bottom is filled with epoxy to seal the resonator circuit while passive buzzer bottom is exposed.
